  2. I would assume that EDDC’s stance is based on an unwavering confidence and trust in Theresa May who continues to reassure us that Brexit will “Make Britain Great Again” and that every possible Brexit deal (if indeed any deal is possible at all) will be marvellously beneficial for us and for our economy without any downsides whatsoever.

So there won’t be food or medicine shortages – no way. And they are only spending £BILLIONS on stockpiling to reassure us rather than because it is necessary.

And her so-called briefings to the police and military were actually just a “keep up the good work” informal “pat on the back” meet-the-troops goodwill meeting / ENSA Concert and not as widely reported briefing them on containing the civil unrest (aka riots) that will ensure when there is no food in the shops and / or food prices have doubled due to shortages.

So, since St. Theresa of Westminster has promised a land of milk and honey at Brexit (rather than a land lacking in EU Milk and EU Honey) why on earth would her sycophants at EDDC feel any need for any sort of “planning”?

(Alternative explanation: They are so clueless that: A. They cannot see why they would need to plan; or B. They haven’t a clue how to go about such planning; or C. They know they have no real influence on anything, so why bother?; or D. All of the above.)
