  1. We have had since the 5th Jan 2016 4 weeks of weather in which the wind alone has made trading difficult for business people who have facilities for their customers to avoid the worst of the minor sand storms driving across the sea front.
In fact some of the cafe’s have been kept closed because of the weather situation. When reaching the Queens Drive sand covered area, all the way down to Orcombe Point we have nothing open at all.
Surely the EDDC members and their followers must realize that those businesses who have traded for years on the front have allowed for the fact that it is very seasonal, and our council know this all to well, as they close toilets in certain places because of the lack of use.
We have not had the flooding which others have had, but this will come with future climate change.
Most of the public i am sure want to see the improvements made to the town centre sooner then millions spent on a large sea front development that only needs cosmetic changes.
