One thought on “Police Commissioner employs consultants to find savings”
If you are suggesting that spending £20k to save £12m pa is ironic, I don’t see it that way personally.
The article says that they have apparently been clever to date in making savings which has allowed them to maintain police headcount, but now they need some outside help to identify further savings, spending a small amount on consultancy relative to the savings they hope to identify. Whilst I was expecting yet-another-police-commissioner-wasting-money story, this all sounded quite well managed to me. Or have I missed something?
