Says it all really. EDDC says they will increasingly rely on internet links to provide “services” and the local MP says they aren’t good enough and there may be “riots” in rural areas if they don’t improve!

More histrionics from the Tory’s then. Come on!!! Can anyone really see riots happening over not getting fibre broadband? Lack of food, frequent and extended power cuts, insufficient money to live off, democratic disenfranchisement, too much taxation – these are the causes of rioting, not a lack of 20Mb broadband.
That said, I haven’t quite understood why Feniton residents haven’t rioted yet – frequent re-flooding and no apparent efforts to fix it or control developments that create more flooding seems to me to be a potential cause for riots. 🙂
