Can anyone point us to anything that EDDC’s ‘Champion for Tourism’ has said or done that was useful for the district? Googling her name and East Devon for the last year gives up one reference where she adds her name to ‘Devon is Open for Business’ after the recent storms.
Can anyone name her without looking it up?

As was first said of Lloyd’s of London, self regulation is all about self and nothing about regulation. If the regulator is not completely protected from the regulated, then the regulation means nothing at all. It’s rather like letting a local authority select an auditor for its affairs whilst holding an interest in that auditor. The conflict of interest can only be unacceptable. Maybe there is a job for the Royals – to regulate the expenses of the Houses of Commons and Lords?
