Seaton Heights Hotel complex: is it ready to start building?

The developer says yes:

but EDDC says no: the site is listed as “awaiting decision” because no Section 106 agreement has yet been signed.

These can take months so perhaps Seaton should not bring out the champagne just yet.

Having noted with interest your comment regarding building work commencing on our site in Seaton and the fact the S106 agreement has not been signed I would like to take this opportunity to update you further. The terms of the S106 have been agreed between ourselves (Lyme Bay Leisure), EDDC and the County Council. The final draft of the S106 including our S278 commitments are in the hands of our respective solicitors and should be available for signing imminently.
