However, Cllr Potter at a meeting in Newton Poppleford at the end of September revealed there would be NO District Councils in ten years. Cllr Diviani stated in the Radio Devon interview yesterday that the new building would be ready in 2017. 2024 – 2017 = 7 years, so how precisely are these costs to be “covered and savings made”? Who will pick up the tab for the DEBT this will leave with 13 years still to run?
