Of interest is that, if we had Community Infrastructure Levy, parishes would receive 15% of it directly (25% if a neighbourhood plan is in force). Our CIL was thrown out bt the Planning Inspector as having a poor evidence base so our developers are absolved from paying this charge.

Back in October 14, NALC reported that, on average, parish councils have received only 1% CIL from their respective local authorities rather than the 25% promised.. which means that 99% of CIL paid by developers in respect of local development is being scooped up by LA’s and spent elsewhere… evidential link available if required.
