Even though the list came from a site called “They Work For You”, based on this list of questions I certainly don’t feel that Hugo Swine is working for me.
And of course this is only an indication of how he spends his time in the House of Commons. We should not forget the significant part of his time he spends working as Chairman of the Conservative Middle East Committee, Treasurer of the All Party Oman Group, Vice Chairman of the All Party United Arab Emirates Group and Vice Chairman of the All-Party Lebanon Group rather than working for us.
Are we sure he works for us?

A comparison of contact details on the Houses of Parliament web site:
Ben Bradshaw (Exeter) http://www.parliament.uk/biographies/commons/mr-ben-bradshaw/230 :
Constituency office in Exeter with address and Exeter telephone number
Neil Parish (Tiverton & Honiton) http://www.parliament.uk/biographies/commons/neil-parish/4072 :
No constituency office address, but Tiverton phone number provided
Hugo Swire (East Devon) http://www.parliament.uk/biographies/commons/sir-hugo–swire/1408 :
No constituency office address or telephone number
(Of course, since he doesn’t think it is important to have a home in his own constituency, perhaps we should not be surprised that he has no contact details for a constituency office here either. SInce he only “visits” East Devon, he obviously doesn’t feel the need for any means for local people to contact him locally.) It feels a bit like having a doctor who claims to be local but really is only available in London.
Who did you say Hugo was supposed to be working for?

Let’s be absolutely clear her, Hugo Swire is in this business for his own benefit. Rarely can an individual be in the right place at the right time, to inherit a safe ( lets change that!) tory seat and take advantage of that in the way that he has takes us back to the 18th Century! It is unacceptable and unforgivable. He takes the pi** out of the electorate , yes including you conservative fools, by having as little as possible to do with East Devon unless it offers him the opportunity for a photo op.
Clearly , he has a team of people who point him in the direction of maximum personal gain, because sycophatically it means something for them.
I hope these leeches see the light.
Swire doesn’t do this alone.
