  1. Everybody in East Devon seems to have problems of one sort or another. This is a concern we have in Exmouth, the new batch of business people who will be asked to pay high rates and rents on our new Queens Drive leisure complex, has just been cleared of hundreds of tons of saturated sand which cover large area’s of the surrounding Esplanade road more and more each year.
How they will ever deal with this situation and face the ferocious weather when this new development is ever creeping nearer to the sea side of the road, it makes one wonder if those at EDDC who are at the planning stage know what they are up against.
When new retail units for let, in the Bowling Alley Site are still empty since built, surely it must tell EDDC something.
More so because at the last Election our local Council was telling the Electorate, they were against any new large development on Sea Front, because of public concern, saying instead, they would concentrate on improving what Exmouth already has.
