One thought on “Campaign to protect green spaces in Neighbourhood Plans”
Exmouth has quite a lot of open farm land along with the Common surrounding us. But sports fields are scarce, so we have to take a little more care about any green field sites under the control of EDDC and DCC they will look to sell anything they have left, and this includes the Rugby pitches next to the Estuary. The May election may help the situation should we get the changes at EDDC and our local council we so badly need.
We had a council meeting in Exmouth on Monday Evening, when people were saying they needed more development on the sea front so to give their children something to do when weather is bad, but show no concern about all those young rugby playing kids, should they lose their ground. In this case they would sooner have an Asda built on their pitches. This we must oppose.
