County Councillor Claire Wright (Independent) may also be on Spotlight the same evening.
No other councillors from East Devon seem to be concerned enough about the crisis to do anything meaningful.

Your last comment is incorrect. I spoke against the proposals at EDDC’s Full Council, explaining the changes which had led to the mess that the Health Service is in in Devon.
Devon County Cllr. Brian Greenslade (Lib Dem) proposed a notice of motion (twice) at Full Council at County Hall which the Conservatives refused to debate the first time, referring the matter to Cabinet, which referred it to the Health & Wellbeing Scrutiny Committee. As a member of that committee, I spoke saying that the proposals for cuts should be kicked back to where they came from & voted accordingly. The recommendations were sent to Full Council & received almost unanimous support. This was a clear case of a Lib Dem proposal backing the Conservative controlled Council into a corner to vote against their own Government’s policies!
