Clearly the Conservative Party definition of “austerity” is different from mine. Mine is “government spending constraints imposed in order to REDUCE public debt” Tories’ is “government spending constraints imposed in order to DOUBLE public debt and give big tax reductions to the already extremely wealthy”.
