Their office at the East Devon Business Centre (along with many more) is being demolished to pay for Skypark and will be replaced by a supermarket.
Says it all really.
And they have to be out by the end of the year, though their notice period will be waived if necessary.
That’s nice of EDDC isn’t it.
East Devon Watch 
As previously pointed out, as they are evicting businesses from the East Devon Business Centre, EDDC are simultaneously stating in their annual report “High demand for premises from small firms saw us let all our available business units in August (2013). In response to the high levels of demand for workshop units we now have plans in the pipeline to create more units.” In true homage to George Orwell, apparently “more” really means “less”.

3. Cllr Diviani’s statement when he became Council Leader “The cynical view of the last Government – decide, consult, do it all anyway – is not my approach.” But secret cabinet meetings (e.g. about the Knowle move), public speaking restrictions etc. suggest that this is exactly his approach.

Don’t forget Diviani’s promise when he became Leader: “clean, green and seen”. Perhaps he meant he would clean-out the district’s assets, take us all for being green around the gills ie stupid) and be seen as the man who never kept his promises!
