I am not sure that we should “oh dear” every economic development that is proposed for the SW.
We live directly under the flight path for the airport and don’t feel that the current air traffic is particularly intrusive. (And having previously lived directly under the flight path for Luton Airport, believe me we know what airport noise is!!) Providing that growth in take-offs and landings are kept to sensible daytime hours and numbers not increased too far, and providing that the types of aircraft that use Exeter Airport don’t to noisier or larger types, shouldn’t we be welcoming an increase in local tourist trade?
