One thing is certain, we are in this together, we may have different priories, our’s in Exmouth will differ from those in Feniton.
But we are concerned about the same things which can be the environment, road and infrastructure problems, or even care homes closures.
We also know we have DCC and EDDC telling us we must except change, while telling us of more cuts, and that they must save another £50 million.
This will happen what ever we think, over the next 5 years, but most councilors and the whole administration who run EDDC, must except that we in East Devon also want changes and fortunately we will have our chance at the May Elections.
We need a spokesperson who will speak for us without fear or favor, this will never be easy, but better to try then do nothing.
I do feel Claire Wright will be a breath of fresh air, with all those small East Devon towns behind her, “Claire could just do it”
