My reason is because I honestly believe our own MP has become complacent as if his position has become tantamount to being a fixture in East Devon. He can put some blame on EDDC for the blatant waste of council money and it’s spending over the last few years on consultancy fee’s, and money spent on buying the covenants of Exmouth sea front. The replacement of the Knowle. which was some £700 000. Our MP should have spent a little more time on discouraging what was becoming a grievance to many of his own voters. How long has he been the East Devon MP,? We are continually being told we should expect change in Exmouth by our councilors when changing our sea front. Now many are expecting to see changes in our council, and at EDDC which have become arbitrary, when a very short time ago this would have been unheard of in this part of Devon.
