That sounds like a bargain – when SIR HUGO (uuurrrggghhhh!!!!) ceases to be an MP and joins the speaking circuit with his mate Dodgy Dave, he will no doubt expect more per appearance than £1k – though whether he will be able to demand the same astronomic fees that Dodgy Dave will no doubt command seems unlikely.
