“I’m going to make big decisions in the short-term interests of our country (and the short and long-term interests of the Conservative Party) – my definition being that you must not elect a Labour Government who might genuinely act in the interests of ordinary people and who have shown over the past 13 years in powerless opposition that they can’t be trusted with the economy [projection] – even if they’re difficult (for ordinary people to cope with – of course, rich people like me will continue to thrive).”– Rishi Sunak
