  1. East Devon Watch, Has every right in scrutinizing the spending, no matter what ever Council is in power even more so with all the stringent cuts in local services. The Knowle relocation has to be a concern to all the residents of East Devon.
This should have the same effect with those of us living in every other town where EDDC seem to dictate every agenda.
In the Elections of 2011 our council was telling us that our Conservative administration would preserve our Sea Front.
They pointed to the fact that they wanted to avoid any new substantial developments but would improve what is already there.
Now we are seeing a conspicuous amount of new development with no real information on how it is going to be paid for.
We do not really know what is being placed in these developments other then having a part it, as a watersports centre.
EDDC are to be congratulated, so we are told, but admit all further buildings will be developed piecemeal, Is this more council spin. Please start telling us the truth, Who will pay for this, if it is not the council how much will it cost all our visitors to use it.
