I challenge anyone to take away one bit of useful information from this embarrassing exhibition of total pompous waffle!

  1. Personally, I found Neil Pariah’s speech here extremely impressive and highly inspirational.

    I fear that I can only dream about reaching this level of knowledge and expertise (and indeed fluency and informality) of bullshit and of sounding impressive (at least to the less discerning) whilst saying absolutely nothing or any importance or commitment.

    A genuinely incredible speaker whose speaking abilities are truly a credit to his political party.

  2. Private Eye put it well when they called him ‘blustering’ – he threatens and blusters but he won’t carry anything through of any real importance. I’m thinking of the hospitals saga when he promised to hold Jeremy Hunt’s feet to the fire but did absolutely nothing. That’s the definition of blustering.
