  1. The Barn cannot be demolished unless or until Natural England give a licence for the Bats to be moved.


  2. Does this mean that existing executive councillors have freedom to act, and to work with like minded officers in destroying evidence, or are there procedural controls or a shadowing process to ensure no harm is done over this period?

    I am dismayed over the fact that planning permission was given for the East Budleigh barn demolition during the election period as surely controversial decisions should not be taken due to election purdah. Presumably the barn cannot be demolished or jeopardised until the replacement is built.


    • Anything possible … I would guess that they would say it wasn’t a political decision … simply following planning rules!
