Musical deckchairs on the Titanic: we await sixth housing minister in 12 months 

Lucy Frazer, moving to “Culture”  becomes the 14th housing minister to leave the post since the Conservatives came back to power in 2010, and the fifth in the past 12 months. Good job there’s no housing crisis. Sports and TV are much more fun, to be fair.

Her replacement has yet to be named.

  2. Perhaps this is a suitable vacancy for the man whose constituency over the last decade has delivered twice as many of the wrong sort of homes as any other district in Devon. Perhaps he could find the discretely removed Richard Cohen from his bunker to help with “delivery”. I’m sure his non disclosure payment will have run out by now.
