Here’s a novel idea that arises from the Tory fondness for the trough.
Why doesn’t Hugo move to a seat that might actually want him, one that he could comfortably service from his (or is it his wife’s) London home. It would save him the trouble of having to come all the way down to the West Country and feigning interest in our affairs. It would also save him from a humilating defeat by the candidate the constituency is increasingly showing a preference for, Independent Claire Wright.
Hugo, Kensington calls now that Malcolm Rifkind has decided to stand down.
Do us, and yourself, a favour. It would be the best thing you had ever done for East Devon.

How very true. Get this useless Tory idiot out and let’s vote the Wright way for change. Claire Wright – new M.P. for East Devon

Well Swire went to Age Concern in Budleigh Salterton last week and didn’t even mention that a recent EDDC decision cost Bespoke Buffets their lease on the kitchen that they rented from EDDC as they decided to award the lease to a company selling animal clipper.
This left Age Concern without meals 4 days a week and around 40 elderly residents without a meal delivery service.
Shame on EDDC.
